Who we are

This service is operated by TUMLE, Denmark, the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us at support@tumler.dk.

What we collect

• Your name, email address and Instagram handle.
• A shipping address, only if you request a product sample.
• The videos you upload, and any notes you send with them.
• Messages you send us in the app or on Instagram.
• Basic technical data — IP address and browser — for security and abuse limits.

Instagram messaging

We connect our own TUMLE Instagram professional account through Meta’s Instagram API so our team can read and reply to direct messages from one place. When you send a direct message to our Instagram account, we receive and store that conversation so our staff can respond to it:

• the content of the messages you send us, and our replies;
• your Instagram-scoped user id and username; and
• the time each message was sent.

We use this only to communicate with you — to answer questions and to invite creators to our programme. We do not use Instagram message content for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties other than the infrastructure providers that host the service on our behalf. Access tokens for the connected account are stored encrypted. You can ask us to delete your conversation at any time — see Data deletion.

Why

To run the creator programme: to reach you, to ship samples, to review and publish your content as advertising, to calculate and pay commission, and to answer messages you send us. The legal basis is the contract between you and TUMLE, your consent where you have given it, and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service.

People in your videos

You are responsible for having the consent of everyone who appears in a video you upload — including your own children — for their image to be used in paid advertising. If you cannot give that consent, do not upload the video.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you take part in the programme or continue a conversation with us, and then delete it on request or when it is no longer needed. Records we are legally required to keep for accounting — commission actually paid — are retained for the statutory period.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or restrict its processing. Deleting your account from the Profile tab removes your account and your uploaded videos; to delete an Instagram conversation or the data from the Instagram connection, see Data deletion. You may also contact support@tumler.dk or complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
